Description
Características
The TLC Heron probe (1700 Series) can measure conductivity, temperature and water level in wells, boreholes, standpipes and estuaries where saltwater intrusion and contamination levels become a concern.
Conductivity can be an early indicator of change in a water system due to fluctuations in the salinity of water levels.
Its modular design allows for easy and inexpensive repairs

- High contrast LCD screen
- Vinyl, ergonomic grab handle
- 9V battery
- 1413μ S conductivity solution is included
- FREE backpack with adjustable straps, laptop and notepad sleeves
Funcionamiento
- Press and release the red power button. A brief message will appear indicating the software version. The digital display will then show an update with conductivity and temperature readings.
- Slowly lower the probe until a solid 3 second light and tone indicates the presence of water.
- Note the marking on the tape. This is the static water level.
- After 3 seconds, the display updates with the temperature and conductivity values. Wait 60 seconds for readings to stabilize.
- Continue to lower the probe and take temperature and conductivity readings at the desired depths.
- When the probe is removed from the water, the device emits an intermittent tone while the LED lights up.
- To turn off the Conductivity Plus probe, press and hold the power button until “Power Off” appears on the digital display.
